Hey guys i baught a 97 f150 in September and everything was going great. However last weekend i went off-roading and wen i drove home i didnt realize it until i got on the freeway that my truck was stuck in 4 wheel drive. I got on the sholder and took it super slow home and now its out of 4 wheel drive and i have a problem. The truck wont shift anywhere past second gear, the rpm's just shoot up but the truck will not shift past 2nd gear. Its going into the shop in 2 days but i was wondering if u guys had any suggestions. Anything will help thanks everyone.

 

that happened to one of my friends on his 97 something was wrong with the transmission and the transfer case and it was expensive
