'89 F-150 I6 oil pressure
My new to me '89 F-150 I6 5 speed (OD) shows zero oil pressure on its guage and the engine warning light is lit. The engine seems to run fine and the dip stick shows the crank case is full.
I bot a Clymer's manual and it is worthless.
Where is the oil pressure sending unit on the "89 I6? Is there a simple way to test it?
How do you check the circut to the dash oil pressure guage?
Crossing my fingers I say thanks for any help.

oil switch
if your looking at engine it would be on right side towards middle. prob. leaking i had a 86 f150 w/ 300 and i ended up installing aftermaket gauge and sensor beware if u do it. go with the electrical setup and not the oil line its messy if u accendtly bump it
If you remove the sender and screw a direct reading [mechanical] gauge in you can see if you have oil pressure.
Or just go buy a new pressure sender and replace yours. They do go bad quite often.
