1989 F150 Won't Start When Cold
1989 F150 Won't Start When Cold
1989 F150 EFI V8 +200,000 miles
The F150 runs like a champ but WILL NOT start when cold. It's been doing this starting this fall/winter.
Turns over great, runs fine once started and will re-start fine once engine warms up.
I have had to result to squirting carb-cleaner into the intake when it's cold out to get it to start.
----> Crank a little --->Squirt---->Starts!!
Is there some cold start valve or sensor that needs replacing?? Something I need to clean out??
Any help would be appreciated!!
