do massa irflow sensors really work? i was thinking about getting one with the airraid intake system and getting a tuner too? would this be a good setup? do i need the mass airflow sensor? thanks

 

Your truck already has one. They want to sell you a larger/different one, which is not usually needed unless you have a power adder like a supercharger.

With some aftermarket MAF's, you'll need a custom tune also.

 

i have a aftermarket gms mass air flow sensor with the k&n injection kit. it all depeneds on how much performace parts you are going to add on. cause i have a bbk throttle body and helix power tower spacer electric fan pace setter headers and with all that i had to buy the hyperteck because it wasent running right. so if you are planing to put alot more into your truck i would go with the new mas but if you are not going to put alot of extra in i would investe in something that would do more for you.
