Moisture in plugwells on #7 and #8, any ideas?
What is it that could cause this to happen and is there a cure? Its not alot of moisture, but just enough to cause slight hesitation and cause me to get codes for cylinders 7 and 8 misfire. The bottom ends of the plugs look good, its just the plugwires look damp and have a rusty color on them.
Ok, now then. I am a SON of a mechanic, though I have been called much worse. I would belive that your problem could be that the heater hose(s) that run over the plugs. I would do the (hand) check. Run your hand on the heater hose(s) from the fire wall, as soon as the temps will allow you to.
*cold in Indiana* and it's real early, so if I am wrong....well I tried.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS good luck

1509,
Is it antifreeze or water that gets in the holes? Has this happened more than once? After paying off road? After an engine cleaning? Engine maintenance like a plug or plug wire change? Plug #7 and #8 are on the driverside and closest to the firewall. Are these the plugs?
