BBK Cold Air Induction System

I own a 1997 Ford F150 4X4 with a 4.6L
I installed the BBK Cold Air Induction this Fall and it seems to have helped with power and gas mileage.
BUT, at idle, the cold air induction make a noise that sounds like a Fog Horn. With the hood open, In gear or in Park, but mostly in gear. This sound is coming from the BBK air filter. The idle increases at the same time.
I can make this fog horn stop (most of the time) by stepping on the gas.
Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this problem?
Thank you in advance for any help and/or information you can share with me.

i would check all the connections you could be getting unmetered air behing the maf sensor. and it could also be a sound resonance problem from the tube vibrating or a mixture of both.
