dyno sheets please for 2v 5.4L & L
dyno sheets please for 2v 5.4L & L
OK I am looking to compare dyno sheets between a stock 5.4L Triton engine and a stock 5.4L Triton Lightning engine (w/supercharger)
What I am looking to see is:
Does the Supercharged 5.4L make the same ft/lbs of torque @ the non-supercharged 5.4L's peak torque.
In other words does the Lightning make 350 ft/lbs of torque @ 2500 to the flywheel like the stock 5.4L Triton engine (2V)
thanks

P.S. What I am trying to see is if a Lightning can out-pull a NA 5.4L (2v) in the lower rpm range. I mean the lightning surely has more torque in the upper range.. but does it still make a good bit of low rpm grunt to keep up with the 5.4L (2v)

HI!... I believe the LIGHTNING 5.4 makes it's max TQ at about 1800-2000RPM and holds that untill about 4000RPM. Flat TQ curve. The 5.4 makes it's max TQ at about 2800-3000RPM ( from what Ive seen from my own dyno graphs).
