I'm new to the group. but my question is can someone tell me what the original engine that came in the 1986 Ford F-150.....My
F-150 has a 302 V-8 EFI. And could someone tell me how to find out if the engine that is in my truck is the original engine or not...

Just from the outside it is hard to tell unless paint colors are different or there is evidence the bolts and mounting hardware has been disturbed.
I have an 85 and the paint color of the original engine is light grey. The valve covers are stamp steel and the belts are the old narrow V type.
Otherwise is is indeed called a 302 and should have a flat tappet camshsaft.

That could be the original engine for that truck. I believe the 86's were the first year to have the EFI engines. Some of them were 300 I-6's and some were 302 V8's. There may have been other options as well (351, 400, or 460) but I am not sure about those. The next year was the body change in 87. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
