oil use

spend real money on a real mineral based oil and you will have
a stronger oil and 7k or more,spend money for something
that really filters oil and get 15k from oil.paper does not filter
any better than fiberglass and t.p two ply.watch oils that are
5w/ that is 10w/ thinned out with normally detergents and
thats why people say its quieter ,it splashes faster at start
up,synthetics coat or candy to parts and thats why their quieter
but at driving range and above they weaken. get a oil with high
TBN its stronger,not just slicker. look into the API

Synthetic oils clean varnishes off parts and don't gum up in the combustion chamber, they do not coat or candy parts any more than any other oil.

You are thinking of additives like SLick 50 and the like, which are shown to do nothing at most.
