I have a 97' F150 short wide bed reg cab with a 4.2 liter v-6, well recently the engine was went down, and im going to replace it, but i has wanting to know if it would be ne harder putting in a 4.6 liter v-8, like will the tranny line-up and stuff like that, motor mounts i apreciate all the input guyS

The first an most significant stumbling block is the transmission. It will not bolt up to the triton engine. If you are willing to spring for a replacement engine let me know at I will list what you need after that.
