Testing coil packs

To test the resistance of them are you putting pne lead on the spring and one on the B+ terminal?? What kind of reading are you guys gettin??

For COP type the primary is .55 ohm.
Secondary is 5500 ohms.
On the EI system, the pri. is .3 to 1.0 ohm.
Sec. is 3000 ohms.
