Battery on 2000 Scab (4.6L, 60,000 mi, formerly running fine; new fuel filter) went dead. Could not jump start from 2 different cars; engine would just not turn over. Replaced battery. Now, engine hesitates when first accelerating. Did jump start attempts damage some component? Anyone had similar experience? Any advice out there?

 

i think there are vacume hose behind the battery. check to see if any are dammaged or leaking.
