i am getting a slight miss and wanted to change the plugs anyway, has anyone used this kit and what is your impresion? does it come with the new spark plug boots? did it help throttle respons? did it feel like you gained the 5-10 hp claimed? any info is apreciated thanks

 

It has a plasma booster and plugs, not coils or boots. Neal has one on a NA 5.4 and everyone else I've seen here with one is in the Lightning area; specifically search Rob_02Lightning, as he is a huge proponent of them. Most of the posts make fun of them, but they do help on high HP/boost applications IMO. You have to wiretap each coil wire or color-code probe the wires closer to the computer harness.
