i would like to put a v-8 in place of the straight 6 in my 1995 f150 2 wheel drive truck. any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. thanks,doug

 

i think you could use the same transmission, how ever you will need the computer and other electronical stuff for your v8. if you are going to use a 5.0, just leave that I6 in there. it has as much power, and will last longer. upgrade to a 5.8 and get a bigger tranny if you want a real difference
