Check Engine Light

Check Engine light is on. Had it in for service and the tech said the errors indicated the O2 sensors were bad. They replaced all four O2 sensors at $100 each. Check Engine light came back on after about 40 miles. Went back to the garage where I had it serviced and they said the error referred to the O2 sensors. Any thoughts on why the same error would be coming up again? What would be causing the O2 sensors to go bad?

Post the exact codes. No one here is psychic.

Sensors probably weren't bad.....

Did they tell you what oxygen sensor DTC were stored? Just because you get a O2 sensor DTC dosen't always mean the sensors are bad. They should have checked the PIDS to see if they were functioning properly. Vac. leaks, high/low fuel press.,dirty MAF sensor,Ect. can set O2 sensor DTC's.
