question,

I want to get a bigger MAF sensor for my 04 150 w/5.4

I was a liitle confused when I put on my Air Raid intake when I realized that the sensor is not round like my 99' 150. Help me out!
I'm a rookie. haha

Why do you need a bigger MAF?

The stocker flows plenty of air, unless you plan on a blower.

Don't mess with it.

Thanks for the info,

THe only reason i was asking was because i want to get as much extra power that i can. I'm getting the diablo tuner and a throttle body spacer. I just thought the sensor would give me a little more.

The spacer does do something. Ever hear of a tunnel ram? Carb spacer or how about the intake runners on a late model 5.0 stang. A spacer adds plenum volume and will speed up airflow at low RPM, to aid in torque production, however this is a trade off as it will hinder airflow at higher RPM.

Will you feel it, maybe not and may it take power away somewhere else in the powerband(especially higher up in RPMS). I felt the difference while pulling a long slow grade when compared to stock.

Stay away from any of those with grooves to spin the air, it's BS. a smooth spacer can be had from Summit.
