FORD DURASPARK ll SYSTEM SYSTEM-what is it?

PERFORMANCE IGNITION MULTIPLE SPARK ULTRA HIGH ENERGY SYSTEM
FORD DURASPARK ll SYSTEM SYSTEM

Is that something i would want to look into about getting put into my F150? I found it on ebay and am wondering what it does, and if it would even apply to the F150, or give any significant gains if it can be put into an F150?
Thanks for the help and clarification!

Depends, what year is your truck? Duraspark II was the predecessor to EEC. It was the ignition "brainbox" for the feedback carburetted engines of the late 1970's.

The Dura Spark II is from as far back as 1977.
You can't use it on you 97 truck.
The 97 ignition system is far better.
