Troyer Performance

First of all, first post and I just got my truck last week. I love it, but I am ready for some mods!

I was wondering who had first hand experience with Troyer Performance Stage I kits?

I am thinking about going this route as my first "mod" and wanted peoples personal experiences about the HP/TQ gains and if they felt it was worth the $995.

Seems like a great deal to me.

If anyone has some data/experiences, please let me know!

Thanks!

I have done almost the Stage 1, purchased the 1714 tuner and AirRaid intake from them, and did a custom exhaust. If the exhaust setup is what you are looking for, it is the best price around! Great setup! I love my new power!

Troyer has great customer service. They take very good care of anyone who purchases products from them. You can email Mike or Anita with any questions you might have. They will be happy to help. Their email address is on their site.

Another Troyer fan here. A couple of years ago I spent enough with him that I put him as a legal deduction when I filed my taxes. He's always treated me right and happy to share what he knows with you.

I AM THINKING OF GETTING THE SAME SET UP.................ALTHOUGH I AM THINKING OF GOING WITH A GIBSON EXHAUST RATHER THAN THE MAGNAFLOW................LET US KNOW HOW YOUR INSTALL GOES OR WENT.

I've been looking at getting some upgrades for my truck as well, and that's probably where I will go to get them.

denhamjr, FYI, it is considered "rude" to type in all caps (its the equivalent of yelling).

Even his wife Anita is super pleasant. I spent a long time on the phone with her asking questions and getting prices. If I asked a question that she couldnt answer... she opened the package up and told me, or went and asked her husband who was working on something at the time.

And seconds after hanging up with her, I emailed her back asking a few more questions and she responded almost right away.

I've not bought anything from them yet, but so far, I am very impressed.

The Troyers run one of the best business that I have ever dealt with. Mike knows these trucks better than anyone that I have ever meet, and Anitia does awesome work in the office. I now buy all my parts from them, their prices are always good and the service is second to none.

I have all of the same parts as the stage I kit (1715, AF1, Magmaflow) and think that it is worth it. This combo wakes these trucks up quite nicely. I do not know much about the Gibson exhaust but stay away from the Flowmasters. Been there done that, the Magnaflow system is much better.

My $.02

I have had great experiances with Troyer Performance also. When I first talked to Mike my truck was stock. I've put a few dollars in this truck over the past few years and it's Troyer Performance that I got my go-fast parts from. They give the right price and unmatched customer service. I've even had a chance to meet Mike and Anita. Not only do they run an awsome buisness, they are really cool, down to earth people too.

The kits on the Troyer Performance site were put together in a way that has been tried and tested and has proven results. I don't think you will go wrong with anything you get from them.
