water temp gauge

water temp gauge

i just orderd a water temp gauge, tranny and air press. along with a three gauge pillar mount, my ? is were would be the best place to mount the sensor of the coolant temp sensor to get the best reading? by the way it is electrical not mecanical, thanks for any help

Look for a plug on the intake near the T'stat housing. The sensor should fit it using one of the adapters that "should" come with the gauge.

If you don't have the plug (mine didn't, but mine is a '97) then you can T into the heater hose.
