Humidity rising from dashboard and all around console

Hello,

I recently did some work on my truck(Replaced head). Everything has run great for 2 months now but I have a problem now.

The check engine light isn't on.. but my truck smells like anti-freeze inside when I'm driving without the fan on - and a light mist is coming up from the defroster area..

Now if I turn on my heater and the fan up all the way.. my whole truck turns into a tropical system.. it's sooo humid and steam is coming from every crack in the console.

What is this? and how do I fix?

My friend said something about heater core or something.. but I don't know what that is or if he knows what he's talkign about. People here usually do! THanks!

Yup, probably heater core or hose connections to heater core.

I am on my second HC replacement in a year! Part id less than $100, but they have to drop the whole dash to replace. BIG $$$$

I remember we broke some hose on top of the manifold when taking it off.. was kinda melted on, then we reattached but it wasn't nearly as snug, hopefully it just came off.

are you losing coolant out of the condensate line?
is your coolant level going down?

run the a/c on max with the windos up in oreder to dry the interior out so it doesn't get moldy until you can find the problem.

My coolant level is going down slightly.

I noticed a radiator leak too.

I just recently replaced the head on my truck.. Could I have possibly just not put this hose back on properly?
