Throttle body spacers?

I have been looking at some of these throttle body spacers. Everything I read from the people selling them, is that they are great... more HP, more torque...on and on.

But I have also heard that they don't do anything at all.

Everyone on this site knows a lot about this stuff and I want your opinion on these spacers.

Worth it? do they add power? or are they just a waste? and why? any experience with these?

Please help

do a search in the forum and you will get the results, i used one for like a month, no gains anywere, i am glad it was given to me i would have felt bad if i would have spent money on it it does nothing, think about it in a scientific way how is spining the air on a point feul enj. engine going to help if it is not spinig after it goes into the combustion chamber? on a throtle body inj. or carb. engine it would help by mixing the feul air better but it does nothing for modern vehicles

Got one on mine from Poweraid havn't noticed much of a difference except for a whistling sound. I would suggest spending your cash on an E-Fan or lower pullies.

Thanks for the help. I searched the forums and all I could find is that they are worthless... unless I want a nice shiny paper weight? ....so I think I am going to get the pulleys.

I have a 4.2 with a 5-speed.... where are the best ones for my truck ?
