Starter on F150 '99

Having problems with keeping a starter alive. The original starter lasted 3-4 years but since then everyone i put in die in 6-8 months. I have tried different brands even motorcraft but still have the same problem. Was wondering if anyone else as had this problem and if they have advice on and brand or a fix to this problem. It getting to be a real pain to keep having to replace it all the time.

Do you still have the orrigional power cables going to the starter? Are they dying all the same way? How good is your battery?

Cables where replaced last time i replaced the starter. Battery is good, they usually die from corrosion from moister or salt.
