CAn someone please tell me how to loosen the belt?

Actually, I have an AC condenser that at the minimum has a bad clutch that needs to be changed. I may need to change out the entire condenser since it runs intermittantly. Since I have never dealt with this uni-belt, I need little help in getting started. All I am asking is how I loosen or pull the belt? Thanks

Dave,

take your 3/8" drive or breaker and insert it into the square hole on the tensioner arm. rotate the tensioner with this lever and when you get some slack, slip the belt off the idler. that's all there is to it.

Slip it off and on the alternator...much easier there...but still do the tensioner pully deal

That was easy guys and I was able to fix the clutch on the AC condenser as well. Thanks for the quick and helpful replies.
