have dead spot in accelleration
I have a 1991, F-150, 6 cyl, fuel inj., 2 wheel drive. I have a problem with a dead spot when accelerating or de-acclerating.
When I start off, under normal acceration, I hit a brief dead spot shortly after starting to accelerate. I also hit a dead spot when de-accelerating. Sometimes it starts to bog down and lurch a bit. If I really accelerate, no dead spot. To try and fix this, I just did a tune-up (Plugs, rotor, cap, wires), K&N filter, cleaned out the throttle body, new throttle position sensor. No change. Truck has 150,000 miles. Any suggestions. Thanks
