While in the process of installing my Flexalite 270 electric fans, I visited their website to check a couple things out. I saw a warning about the fuse holder being a possible fire hazard. Apparently the type of fuse holder supplied to them from May 2002 to July 2004 is defective and they will ship you a new style component free. This sounds like a serious problem, so please get in touch with FAL if you own one of these. I called their toll free number and the operator told me to fax my receipt to them for their records, and then she'd ship me one. She then put me on the line with a tech because I had another question, and he just took my name and address and said he'd ship me one immediately. The fan is running great so far, and I'll put out another post about about the installation and a tip or two to pass along. I replaced it with a car stereo type and have not had a problem since.
