I didn't want to buy another ford vehicle but decided to try one more time thinking maybe since Ford had my Lariat crew in Black and a LB FX4, maybe I might be getting better parts, or an assembly crew. No such thing. A ford is a Ford, and I'm done with them. The suck, they stink, they have cost me over $900.00 in car rental and hotel expenses which I'll never see re-imbursed. My 04 F250 was purchased in Late April and after 2000 miles had 2 leaking injectors. Now, I have to call the service dept in the morning because this is happening all over again.

Once again, I'm hearing a louder wineing noise which last time they told me it was from a loose part on the turbo or some place. This truck is killing me. I must get the Northwest engineer team on this. I DO NOT WANT THIS TRUCK ANY MORE. IT'S A LEMON AND what can I do? The truck is paid for and I want out of it. I bought it in CA and moved to Alaska. What can I do? Some of you guys really love your Ford, but I've had nothing but problems with 2 Ford trucks. I knew not to buy another Ford.

They are a trickle down company. First they take a crap on Americans and hundreds were killed because of their Firestone bs tires that were defective. I cannot get on with my life the way this truck has performed. Was to go fishing for 3 days starting toomarrow. Can't do that now. Thanks Ford for ruining my weekend. I'm sending in a dispute settlement application to get out of this truck under CA lemon law.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but doing hardcore bitching is just immature. Nissan has its share of Lemons just like every other manufacturer. All of my Ford products have been good to me.

 

We have 3 Fords ('97 f150, '01 expedition, '02 f250 psd) and all are performing great and have little to no non-regular maintenance.

Warped heads, and cylinders, busted steering shafts, leaf spring bushings breaking off...oh yeah, and we're built for tough especially for hwy and city driving??? Give me a break. Your just a few of the lucky one's who had their trucks built on a tue or wed because the rest of the week the longhairs are more tuned into their rock music than doing their job and then those overseas making parts out of warped blocks of steel getting patch jobs of sanding and grinding from some Mr. olympic in indonesia. You can take your fords to bed for all I care. And just because your ford vehicles are being good to you, I bet you would be upset as well if you had a 41,500 dollar lemon. Talk about being imature, just because you have not had problems, it means that those that do, should not do any complaining and also to find what the problem is? If any machanics are around and have seen these leaking injectors on a constant basis, then there must be an underlining problem. When I take it in this next week, I wonder if it will be leaking injector 4 5or #6 etc. I bet the whole damn set of injectors are bad. An accident waiting to happen with this piece of crap. Ford sucks and they have the last 10 yrs or more. They suck in every catagory but design. We built a tough truck, good design, too bad the design isn't what drives it down the road.

Quality and craftsmanship gets you down the road and it hasn't gotten me anywhere. But I knew better. Too bad chevy can't think of having a top of the line truck with leather seats and also have a fold up console for a 3rd passenger. It's the only reason why I didn't buy a Chevy.

And I'll have fun with my Nissan who will get me to work and back and I won't have to pay a dime until after 36,000. This I know, I owned 2 before going to the buy american bs. Yeah, I'll have fun Mr. 3 ford owner. My Nissan truck will be sitting in my driveway every night instead coughing up gunk and junk in a dealer garage.

If Ford has such bad trucks they would not sell 2million a year for the last 26 years. Yes there will be lemons all manufactures have lemons. Nissan has had a ton of trouble. Also why would you even mention Nissan? They don't make a diesel truck?

If your truck is trully a lemon which I doubt it is Ford will give you a new one. Also just so you know Ford does not make the Diesel engine (6.0 PSD)

HCMQ, thanks for your tone. It's really appreciated the way I've been feeling. No, I've been a jr. member on this site for over 5 yrs. I had to re-register once and now that I have a new pc, and I'm living in AK, I decided to register all over again.

Up here, we don't have a dealership on every friggen corner like most states. You either live in town or your schedule gets all screwed up. ie. job, motel expenses if they can't fix it in 1 day etc.
I could care less about the hot shot that turned 359.000. The bottom line is most who freqent this site are so maucho for their own good that any talk about ford is going to send them off just like I'm off about this lemon. Most of you don't even care about the hundreds of people killed because the cigar smokers in their ivory towers at ford were willing to cut costs with defective tires. Have any of you been to a funeral of someone of died because of this bs? And lack of responsibility to Americans? Probably not, but you don't have to. The facts also show how from '99 and back, Ford had the worst head on collision record and this was done over 60 minutes. So much for built ford "tough"

I'm not sorry for bashing ford and I mean every bit of it. What I am sorry for is that many of the darlings with their ford stickers only see their favorite looking truck in the driveway and just because they have some luck, they think people like me are trolls.

Ok, look I will humble myself and say yes, I knew I came on here out of the gates and would ruffle the feathers of some. I also felt if I had just stuck to the problem and asked for help on the diagnosis that I would get a kinder response but I elected to stir it up. Ok, sorry for not being more polite for those who worship ford. None of the aligator mouths even considered what the truck has cost me and how dangerous it has become when shutting down on the hwy. None of the maucho aligator mouths and that's all of you don't even think about if I don't make it 90 miles then I'm responsible for the towing of less than 1/2 way to the nearest dealer.

Not to mention I had an interview for a job scheduled that I had to cancel. I'm not bitching so much because I have a warranty issue. This will be my 10th warranty issues with 3 ford vehicles and they were all serious. I never had 1 warranty issue with my 2 Nissans. I have room to talk and I still think ford sucks and I'll never buy another one.

I feel ford puts their vehicles out without any regard of damage once it leaves the factory. I'm sorry but this is the way I feel. Let the owner deal with it. Let the shop fix it.....Ford could care less. Any of their cars break down, they get a new one the next day.
Any of their employees have a major break down, no problem....go over to the lot and pick out a vehicle. Just add the gas or diesel to it before you return it. Drop off the keys at the desk and your good to go.

I'm writing Consumer reports for all you love buckets and ask them to do a study between Ford, Chevy and Dodge on who has the most warranty repair work in their shops. Then I'm going to ask them to work on Toyota and Nissan. I'll be the one with the cigar in my mouth while you guys can eat some crow. : )

Now that's bad. ok, I love my diesel Ford. It's the baddest looking truck around. I put some Mossy oak boardering on the bottom panels of the truck and have a few other gismo's and I get a ton of replies when around the small town. I just am very digusted that whoever put this truck together, the parts stink. Nobody, and nobody should have these problems on a new truck. Warranty means new, not used nor abused. No matter what you buy, a new product means no hassles. From time to time a part will fail but my 3 ford have cost me plenty in time, time off of work and now over 900 bucks. When I take it in this week, maybe I'll save some money and sleep in the friggen alley way with my black lab like the homeless.

What is with the spate of whiners lately? Ford sells the most trucks of any manufacturer. There are bound to be some with problems. Go to a Nissan board or Dodge board and you will here about their problems as well. You are of course entitled to your opinions but to come here with the sole purpose of inciting a flame war with your complaints is just assinine and immature.
