Why is my truck running lean? how do i fix it?

Why is my truck running lean? how do i fix it?

Just had my spark plugs changed about 2000 miles ago and ever since my service engine light has been on. says that i am running lean on left and right bank.

what could be causing this?

Steven1642,

Many times "lean conditions" are caused by a vacuum leak. Post your engine/model/year and we may be able to get more specific.

In the meantime type "lean condition" into the search box and you'll find mucho info.

when you had the plugs changed it is most likely that something was left unplugged or a vac line that was borderline bad went bad when it was touched/moved out of the way/pulled on/etc.
