intake kit or airbox mod?

intake kit or airbox mod?

Got an 01 Screw 4.6 auto 4x4 lookin to get/make an intake. Dollar for dollar which is the better alternative? Pics maybe too??

Obviously building your own would be much cheaper. If you're willing to pay $200-$300 for an intake like AirForceOne or K&N that have thrown mad cash at R&D to improve performance then I would recommend going that route.

I have a K&N FIPK II and love it.

I went with the ICEMAN cold air intake, because I had a K-N filter and this kit uses the factory housing.This way when you change filters you can clean the dirty one and let it dry naturally then reoil it and you are ready for the next time.

Nom sorry i dont have a camera but you can go to their website and see a pic,it just eliminates the restricted air intake pipe with a smooth one and opens up the inlet on the filter housing.
