Sea Foam substitute??

Hello again fine people!

I've read quite a lot about Sea Foam while lurking 'round in this forum, and I'd love to try it in my 97 F150, however it seems not to exist this side of the rockies (The O. C., sunny So. Cal).

It is actually funny to see the look on the guys' faces at Pep Boys or Kragen's when I ask for it (blink, blink...), and mention that it has been around even before they were born...

The one guy that knew what it was, said he carried it a few years ago, but the product would expire on the shelf waiting for me...

Is there a similar product that can be used in the same manner and yeld comparable results?

Thanks!

If you have a local Napa Auto Parts Store they should have it. If not, Did you say you're from Cal? Seafoam was originally made for boat engines. Try some local boat shops. They will probably have some.

B12-Chemtool is about the same thing. You can get it a most Wal-Marts. It is a knock off of Seafoam right down to the same metal can and everything.

That is what I was told at this one shop as well, but I wanted to check with ya'll anyway. I suppose it wouldn't hurt any to try.

Plus, with the threat of West Nile virus carrying mosquitoes coming to these lands, I'm dying to smoke up the 'hood...
