well i have cleaned the iac ..i have checked the cats .. i have pulled the rad out and cleaned it again and the roar is still there im at a 100% total loss on this

Take off the serpentine belt and start it up. If it doesn't roar it is one of the accessories or the new fan clutch that is deffective. It happens.
BTW don't run the truck more than a minute with the belt off.

I pulled the fan off and started the truck and the roar is gone !! why is this now what do i do ??????????? im at a loss

When you removed the fan and the noise stopped then the fan was casuing the noise. The fan clutch is what is supposed to keep the fan from turning at excessive speeds. It is the problem. Replace it.

Well sir !!!! after all has failed i have replaced the iac and the alternater i have put a new belt on had the cats pulled off ( thank god ) put a new fan on have cleaned the rad once again ...........................AND THE ROAR IS STILL HERE..i gave up 100% the truck will go to ford wednesday i will let them fight it ..o yea i almost forgot i replaced the fan clutch again..so stay tuned same bat time same bat channel

Ok first I just want to say I opened an account just to post this. Has anyone forgot about the power steering pump ???




That would only make sense

I doubt this one but also the clutch to the ac compressor.

Just a thought
