broken

broken

broken exhast manafold nut. anyone with same problem? Is it going to break off when I try to remove it?

Good possibility it will break. Soak it down with PB Blaster several times and several days before you attemp to remove it.

Appears to be VERY common on these trucks.

Soak with pb blaster as the other person said and use vise grips. Chances are it will come right out. I dont think they seize in the head, but rather break off due to vibration.

IS it the rear most stud(s) that are broken?

broken stud

so far as I know it's only the back or rear exhast stud on the passenger side of engine. thanks for your input.
