The 3000 mile intervals are based on severe usage. Extended idling, hot climates, dirty environments, heavy throttle/racing, and high horsepower applications need frequent oil changes. For average conditions, 4000 to 5000 miles is fine.

I would beg you to remove this question!! LOL and do a search on it instead.
This will open up a huge can of worms or everyone will avoid it.
Do what ever makes you feel comfortable. (With changing your oil)
