It's been awhile since I made any mods, but I needed a tune up so last week I purchased the ignition upgrade from Troyer Performance. Wow what a difference. It is a bit of work to replace the plugs,wires and coils but well worth it. My truck runs great now, more power, smoother idle, better throttle response. It's fun to drive again. I can't comment on the gas mileage yet, I only drove the 47 miles to work and the gauge is still on full

All the parts fit perfectly and really dresses up the engine compartment.

I put the wires on an ohm meter, the old ones had 30,000 ohms of resistence and the new ones only had 1500 ohms of resistence.

This is an upgrade that is well worth it, especially on older trucks in need of a tune up.

 

I have been wanting to try the ignition upgrade from Troyer, but I have been broke since I started checking them out.
