Just wanted to know if the stock head bolts on my 1994 F150 5L motor can be used when I install my Gt-40 heads or if I have to get bigger ones (7/16 ver 1/2) info would be appreciated. Looking forward to getting into the 14's on Saturday.

 

the old ones may be stretched and/or weakend. also may be different length.

 

Its never a good practise to reuse head bolts. Unless the manual says its ok and if you're in doubt I wouldn't chance it. Just my opinion. Good luck.
