hey all, this is on my dads 97 f150 with the 4.6 liter. it all started when i recently did a tune up on it(plugs, filters, pcv). when i pulled the plugs out every single one on the passenger side was covered in oil and the socket was covered in oil as well. also found out that the oil guage had been working/not working very sparatically. then when i later did an oil change to it, only about a quart or so drained out and it was blacker than i had ever seen it. at this point the oil light had started to come on. now thnis morning my dad barely made it downt he street and it died on him, so he would have to restart it and drive some more then it would die again. so he brang it back to the house and told me to look at it. i went out there and tried to start it but it wont turn over. you can hear the starter engage and watch the fan as it turns about an inch or so and stops. so i got under there and put a wrench wtih a bar on it and tried to turn the motor and it wouldnt budge in either direction. please help?

edit: i put the battery chrger on there and in about a a hlaf hours worht of charging the starter turned the motor over almost all the way, so im thinkin its just a dead battery and not locked up, at least im hoping. also the 8th vin is a w although im not to sure what that means but i am still searching lol.
