"Ford To Beef Up Engine For F-150. Automaker Is Developing V-8 Powerplant For Popular Pickup That Will Dwarf Rivals."

Unfortunately the link was broken and I couldnt read up on the details...can somebody tell me what this is about? Bigger engine, or same 5.4 just with boosted HP?

I am planning on buying a new f150 in the next few months, however if there is a bigger and better engine being intoduced soon, I will hold off until then. I have always felt the f150s were under powered, I hope this rumor I've heard is true...

Does anybody know more about this ?

 

There should be a forum thread already on here about ford's new 6.2L V-8

 

If they manage to fit a 6.2L fuel engine, I'd like to know if they could fit a 6.0L PSD in there?
