Quick question

Hey all, new to these boards been reading them for the last few weeks , getting some awesome information.. I really dont know much about engines (fix-me-ups basics etc) trying to learn. Am learning great things through here though. I had a two questions about my F-150 though. I have a 2001 F-150 5.4L Lariat 4x2, was wondering how much hp those have when stock? And what are some good add-ons that are cheaper. I'm not sure how much S/C cost but fairly sure a lil out of my range for now. Already have exhaust / intake done.. was thinking maybe superchips. Thanks in advance.

5.4's have about 260 stock at the flywheel, you're gettin about 190 or so to the ground though.a superchip is the way to go.i had a micro tuner for mine and it was great, but i had to get rid of it,nedded money.

As way fast witey mentioned, it's rated 260hp at the flywheel, by the time power is transferred through the drivetrain, you end up with about 195 at the rear wheels.
