98 XLT Cab removal

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about swapping out engines in my 1998 F-150 XLT, and I want to take the cab off of the frame to get it done, since I'll be changing the tranny and the diff at the same time. Is there anything out there that has a walkthrough or a list of things to watch for when doing it? Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

There is a guy in the lightning section "superfords" that works for ford and i have seen pics in his gallery of lightnings with the cabs off. that is what he works on. maybe he will chime in or you could hunt him up. he posted a complete rebuild of the 5.4 so he will probably be more than willing to help you.
