Performance Intakes?
Performance Intakes?
wondering if any of you have experience with any of the performance intakes, like the Airforce one, or airaid, K&N ,etc.,
Which seems to be better quality for the buck, and difference noticed, if any.
thanks

Welcome ! That's one of the most common upgrades that members post here about. So, yes, many have done all of those that you mention. They all have similar gains and costs with subtle differences. You could probably get information faster by searching the hundreds of posts here on this topic.
If you go with a K&N, I would stay away from the O.E. factory drop in one.
The filter base seal gap on that K&N O.E. is too thin and allows some unfiltered air to pass thru that gap instead of the filter element.
A complete air intake system that replaces the whole factory intake piece is better sealing, and lets the K&N filter properly.
Airaid was used on my 4.2L and worked well. I'm planning on an AEM brute force for my new 5.4L 3V engine once they have a kit ready for fitting.
