overheating

about a year ago on my 99 F-150 4.6L 4x4 I had a 3" body lift and an after market trez eliptical grille installed. This grille is a bolt over(goes over factory grille) Ever since I had this done(both done at same time) I have noticed here in the summer time which gets an average of 100 degrees(bakersfield, CA) that it will get a little hot when pulling a large grade and the a/c is on. I used to not have this problem. I know the shroud stays with the fan but the radiator is up about 3" causing alot of air to go over engine. Are there any recommendations. I was thinking electric fan to take stress off of engine, will it help?

With the lift the fan is not in the middle of the rad. E-Fans would not only take a little work off the motor but would line up and cover the entire radiator and give you much more cooling. They make the A/C more effecent also.
