Fuel pump self test connector location?

Help! I'm trying to locate the test connector to continuously run my fuel pumps on a dual tank, 1996 F150 (to trouble shoot my no fuel problem). My Haynes mannual says it is located under the hood near the driver's side firewall but I can't find anything that looks like their drawing. Haynes calls the connector a Diagnostic link connector (DLC). Inside my cab I have a DATA link connector, but it looks nothing like the Haynes picture. Anyone have any ideas?

The Haynes manual is not accurate if it shows the DLC for a 96 as the DLC went away with the 95 (last year for OBD-I).

There is no corresponding test point for the 96 and on vehicles to turn on the FP continuously.
