NEED SOME HELP ON THIS ONE. TODAY I WAS STOPPED WHILE THE AIR WAS RUNNING AND I NOTICED MY TRUCK WAS IDLING LOW AND SKIPPING. SO I TURNED OFF THE AIR AND THE IDLE IMPROVED. WHAT SUGGESTIONS WOULD YALL HAVE FOR THIS 97 150XL WITH A 4.2L.

 

I haven't had this problem in any of my Fords, but I have had the same problem in my Jeeps. One had a bad Idle Air Control and the other had a crack in an engine mount.
