1998 f150 with 72000M and engine light comes on then goes off. Code said there was problem with engine pressure I was told to change gas cap which i did. It still comes on. Now what?

 

Which code exactly...if you dont have it, AutoZone will read the codes for free.

 

Do post the exact code(s).

There is no such thing as an "engine pressure" code.

they said replace gas cap so it makes me think you got some kind of evap emmissions code. check the filler tube to tank line and the other lines in gas tank there is an elbow that pops out every so often and it can cause the evap emissions to set a code.

there are a ton of other things that can cause this too get the codes read again and post em we will do what we can.
