rattling @ high rpms

rattling @ high rpms

98 f150 4.6L 4x4 supercab 91k miles
rattling at high rpms already replaced alternator & belt,
air filter,oil & filter, plugs and wires, hypertech programmer, 92 octain gas. why does it still rattle at high rpm??? did i gap the plugs wrong?? i used auto lite single platinum plugs .054 gap and
auto lite wires. i was told a sticky lifter. what else could it be?

I've heard that some trucks still ping even tho they use 92 octane. Might want to do a search on the subject and see what other ways you might try to prevent it.

Also, where is the rattling coming from? I assume the engine compartment since you changed the alternator, etc. I had a rattle that bugged me for months, and found it to me a metal mud-guard over the 4wd shaft that was loose.

Hope your fix is as cheap as mine.
