Genuine Ford Parts - Reputation????

Hello all,

I was getting ready to order some motorcraft parts from a web site titled "Genuine Ford Parts". They claim to have been in business for over 27 years and dedicated to customer service. However, I have two outstanding emails dating from over 6 days that they have not responded to.

Does anyone know if this is a reputable company? I am always cautious when doing business over the internet and a company who doesn't respond to their emails.

Thanks for any feedback and any referrals to reputible motorcraft parts suppliers. I'm trying to find a replacement wiper arm for the driver's side and don't know if this is called the right or left side. thanks again for any assistance.

Aloha,

Ihilani

Drivers side is the left. Have you checked out any of the sponsors of this site for parts?

If they cannot answer your emails promptly, they do not deserve your business.

For Ford/Motorcraft parts, my personal favorite is from Torrie at www.fordpartsnetwork.com

that is the same company as this one...http://www.ford-parts.com/ I checked the prices and they are low. I would order parts from them. I might orer some stuff today. Let us know if you order from them and how it went. I am sure it will work out great.

I have not ordered from them myself. The ones that I have used :

www.oemfordparts.com : TX dealer, also a Ford racing dealer, good people to do business with. You can email them with parts that are not listed, and they get back ASAP with the list, price of each and the URL to do the ordering at.

Seems that when Atascadero Ford outlet went off the web for a bit they must have sold the domain name ?? They were www.fordpartsonline.com ( Gary Starr the man that seemed to have every mod from F150online.com part list memorized ) , but this is now the same dealer for the URL that you have listed above in TX. Maybe part of the same dealer chain now, and they moved the parts location ?? Got me

Rockpick has had good luck with www.fordpartsnetwork.com for ordering.

I used Atascadero Ford for all my non-Ford racing parts, but after getting a few Ford Racing things from oemfordparts.com, switched to them for everything. Get quicker ship times to IL with them being in TX vs CA ( cuts a day or 2 for me ).

Either way you can try them out, and see what happens. You always have the CC dispute method if you don't get the stuff from them.
