oil pressure sensor

Hey guys.....I just finally signed up, but have been referring to your inputs regularly. I have a 97 F150 4.6L. I just replaced the head gaskets. ( Wow, what fun!!) The only real problem I have is no oil pressure indication. i bought a sendind unit, but really can't find where it goes. I found a switch by the oil filter, but doesn't match the new one I purchased. Any verification would be great, they may have sold me the wrong part.
Also I did tear down the engine to block and pistons, so any help someone might need....I'd be glad to help.

they came out with a now oil pressure sender that is less likly to stick on cold start ups in cold weather. so if the connector fits and it screws in alright it is prolly the right one.

you can check oil pressure at the heads on the 4.6 and 5.4 there is a plug in them not sure where though you can take out and screw a guage in there.
