Maf
It's located on the drivers side almost right in the middle. It sits about 6-10 inches directly in front of the master cylinder. The connector plugs in from the front of the engine compartment and is visible from the top.
This maybe a silly question, but was the 1994 a MAFS, or a SD ( speed density ) engine ?
I thought stock was a SD, that is unless it was converted to MAFS.
The SD engine would have 2 tubes, one large, one small vs. the MAFS which is one large tube.
Just what might be a silly question, maybe I have my years wrong for SD engines ???

If equipped, according to spec sheets in the Ford Masters svc manual, that's where it will be. I can't tell you if yours is equipped or not. I believe California emissions were equipped and SD's were also produced that year, but the only way to tell is pop the hood and take a look.
