Well, I've got a 2001 Expy 4x4 5.4L with:
Intake: K&N FIPK Gen2 ~$100
Intake: Tornado ~$50 (actually makes a diff) lol
Exhaust: Gibson swept back cat back system ~$400
ECU: Superchips Micro Tuner 1715 ~$350

Don't know how to check the HP and Torque now, but it sure feels like it makes 50HP difference.
The Micro Tuner actually works well throughtout your RPMs, but before I installed that it was mostly high end. But, that could be due to having larger than stock tires.

K/N FIPK system for 50 dollars??? Where??? They are more like 250 if you get the whole system. I agree, scratch the toronado and add e-fans.

Yeah...Yeah...Yeah. LOL...I knew I'd get **** for the Tornado. But I did notice a difference in throttle response, not necessarily power though.

BTW...I mentioned that the FIPK was ~$100. My enquiry onto ebay just now shows closer to ~$200. But, I don't think I paid that much when I bought mine. Prices have gone up!

I'll check out electric fans...thanks! I didn't know about those.

I would also recommend underdrive pullys, they will free up several horses from paracitic loss. - under $200

How about a throttle body spacer/Tornado/fuel line magnet combo deal?

I think someone said on here, a while back, that they were going to be switching to synthetic turn signal fluid as well.
