Unless we're talking about really expensive oil, I think Mobil 1 is king!

Out of all of the replies to his question only 2 actually attempt to give him an answer. There are plenty of posts here that beat the oil debate into the ground. They are good reading if you're debating which oil brand to use. This post was asking a much simpler question. Just my .02.

I've participated here in many of the "my oil is best" debates. I consider myself now a Stage 1 recovering Oil Brand Debater (OBD 1). I still have my favorite and still believe it is the best for many reasons which I've articulated many times here. I just don't bother trying to convince anyone else of it anymore. It's kind of peaceful not feeling the need to argue my brand anymore.

I'm not trying to change what others use. Just wanting to know why someone wants to use Kendall brand motor oils. No one has answered why they are using Kendall in their trucks. A simple rational answer will be sufficient to shut my mouth on teh topic forever!

You can't bait me that easy.
He wasn't asking any advice as to whether Kendall was good or not. If you want to know why someone thinks Kendall is worth using start a new thread and ask them. Maybe more people will see it. That way the Kendall users can give you their reasons on your thread instead of you dissin' their oil on their thread. I've only seen 1 test that included Kendall and it was a 4-ball wear test using 10W-30 oil about 2 yrs ago. It landed in the bottom 3rd of about 8 brands. Many test results show differences between a #2 ranked oil and a #5 ranked oil or a #5 and a #8 to be so minute that cost would ultimately be the deciding factor.
