Looking to replace my radiator hoses and thermostat. Most of the dealers around me do not even stock the hoses. I don't want to replace them with just any hose. Does anyone know of any alternatives as far as maybe aftermarket high performance hoses? Thanks!

 

A radiator hose is a radiator hose is a radiator hose. Don't think they make a performance one, you can only put on a hose that fits the ends its connected to. You can only move so much water thru the radiator. However, Gates makes the best hoses and belts in my oppinion. For thermostats, Robertshaw makes pretty good thermos. They would be a 'performance' type i suppose. They supposedly use a wax of some kind that expands or whatever and gives supposedly more precise metering of water. Dont know if its true or not.
